2Itinerary
- Your tour guide will pick you up around 9AM at your hotel lobby to start this Tianjin day tour.
- The first stop is Jing Yuan. It was built in 1921 and first named “Qian Yuan”. From 1929 to 1931, the last Empire Pu Yi lived here and changed the name to “Jing Yuan”, which means that peace could raise people’s magnanimity.
- Tianjin Italian Area is located in Hebei district of Tianjin. It used to be the only Italian Colony abroad and now is the only Italian building area in Asia.
- Today you have chance to taste the most famous Tianjin food “Goubuli steamed stuffed bun” in local restaurant.
- After lunch, you will go to Tianjin Ancient Culture Street. It is filled with beautiful carved columns, balconies and elaborate roofs and is a good place to pick up souvenirs and mock antiques.
- Then you will take in the cityscape from above as you ride the Tianjin Eye Ferris Wheel, a 120-meter-tall (390 ft) Ferris Wheel constructed on the Yongle Bridge over the Hai River. It is the only ferry wheel built over a bridge. One sightseeing rotation takes 30 minutes.
- Your tour guide will take you back to the hotel around 5PM.
